HABESHAVIEW
This is a story Gifti, a young girl who grew up in a small town in Ethiopia called Wolenchiti, she was raised by her step mother in Addis when she fell in love with the neighbour's son Berhanu. Then she gets abducted by a son of a noble man Bonsa and she eventually was forced to marry him. In his despair, Berhanu's attempt at revenge goes wrong. The community turns to the traditional Oromo Geda system to resolve the complex interplay of love, crime and the injustice women endure.
